So I'll be away again for a week, leaving you with a couple of beads I made with Amy's tut, and one other focal. Have a great week:wave:

Astrid, Daily I hang out in the corner watching all of your beauties in total awe. I also bought the tutorial from Amy a week ago and have been drooling over it but I had to buy the glass so I am desperately waiting for the shipment to come in. I hope mine look 1/4 as wonderful as yours. You took her design and put your wonderful spin on it.
Truly amazing and I bow to you bead goddess!
Debby - your frog is delightful.

Astrid those are amazing! Love the White one! Where are you going? Please don't tell me you are not going to be making beads!!!
Debby so cuuuuute, makes me smile when I see Froggies.
I will show you my very first attempts at Boro.
Golden Oak with Acorn Top
My observations working this glass.
While I love the ease with which I can get this glass to strike and I love the colors and the reactions, I found it really slow to work and I am not a patient person. I do need a better torch and second oxy/con for this glass.
I also found that while I have great ventilation, the smell of metallic was all through my house and I had a terrible headache afterwards and one of my dogs was sick (not sure if this had anything to do with the fumes, but why take a chance). This never happens when I work with moretti or bullseye.
I think I will wait to play with Boro until I have an outside studio with cross ventilation.
Have a great day everyone!

We are going to a little place called Bulwer in the Drakensberg area with a crowd of paragliders, and if we cant fly we'll hike :)
See you in a week

Astrid those are amazing I can't decide which one I like the best although the red is definitely in the lead at the moment but that seems to change every time I look at them.

Debby he's so cute. It's one of many things that elude me in my glass adventures.
Diana, wow great boro I think that's just shows you got it GF

WOW Astrid! It didn't take you long to get the hang of that technique. They are just beautiful. I love the red one too. Have a fun vacation. I'll miss your beads while you are away.
Debbie, cute frog. I have never mastered those little green guys. Maybe I should PPP more!
Diana, your boro experience is wonderful, except for the fume thing of course. Love the little bird! I've not played with boro but it is a goal. So much glass, so little money! LOL
love the colours today!
