Hi I'm pretty new to this section.. :wave:

I often look in and think I've posted one photo about a year ago. I love photography, I'm not the best, nor the worst. I took this swan at Chew Valley lake not that far from where I live. I took hundreds of photos, mainly landscapes but I like birds too. This photo's not manipulated in any way.

It was a bright day and I used the old rule, so I'm told, of stopping down to F16.

Beautiful photograph. I love the look of the water surrounding the swan and the water dripping from the beak, just great. :clap: It would make a fabulous painting. :)

You're good... you're really good! Now why can't I just whip off a painting like that?

You should post it elsewhere too so more people can view it - this being the Darkroom might be hard for them to see. :lol: :wink2:
