With all of the "debate" about healthcare in America and all of the noise that comes with it. I felt like doing something that is symbolically political.

Acrylic, charcoal, and laytex on canvas 20" X 29"

Oh yeah...just to be fare, my left hand did the left side and my right hand (for the most part) did the right side.

I like the fact that both sides are white. Not sure that this one has the impact of some of your other stuff, but I like it. :)

Hello, tpurnick, what would have happened if your left hand did the right side and your right hand the left side?

Good idea, but since I did both sides at the same time, it would have been a little like playing twister.:wink2:

Makes me think of emerald cut stones.
The charcoal adds a great deal to it, in my opinion.
Love charcoal,,,have you somehow sealed it
for durability, or is that an issue?

I am going to spray it with a fixer today. How are you?

Very good, you can see a house divided here. A little congressional pun.. One shape has the feeling of being extruded and the other recessed, almost polarized. Thanks for sharing your inspiration it added a lot to the work.
