GENERAL INFORMATION:
Title: Surreal 3
Year Created:
Medium: Oil
Surface: Wood
Dimension: 9x12
Allow digital alterations?: No, please :)

MY COMMENTS:
Ive been switching between realistic landscapes to lea<br> to mix color and match values, and totally surreal painting to loosen up. My surreal paintings are done completely out of my head, no drawing. Just paint and see what comes up. So far this is my 7th painting, so its my 3rd surreal piece. Im having fun with the style, let me know if im on the right track please!

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
I think this is done, either that or I just don't want to work on it anymore. Does it need more contrast? and also I tried a sort of selective focus but I'm not sure if it works.

Yes Marie, please do...I need other viewpoints on this. I think the artistic ability shown is excellent, but I wonder what use such a repellent image might have. Where would one hang it? But then such judgments are not a consideration here...

It's very well done, from my point of view. But I noticed that for such scrawny arms the "thing" is pretty strong!
