It was suggested that I start a new thread for this question.
The picture attached is of a painting I started maybe 8 months ago with WM oils. I am trying to finish all my unfinished paintings. It's a noble goal I know. I was wondering how I can start painting on it again. Should I rub some WM linseed oil, Galkyd Lite or Liguin or walnut oil or walnut alkyd medium. I have all of these mediums. Can't stand the smell of Liquin or Galdkyd but it's still summer and my windows are open.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
The painting is actually a square format but I can't seem to resize the image as such.

If you rub on a very thin layer of wm linseed oil, and then wipe off as much as possible, the surface should be receptive to more paint. If you only want to add paint in a few areas, only add/wipe oil in those areas.

Great advice from Debra. Sometime I use that approach shed mentioned. If I need the colors to look wet again fro color matching, you can also put on a traditional retouch varnish, or make your own from Artisan thinner and varnish one to one ratio. Best wished with your noble goal! :)
