This is really nice, very peaceful scene. Nice reflection with a bit of turbulence in the water. What do you do to create your greens?

Thanks Stoy........for dark greens I mixed Prussian Blue and Sap Green. For lights I mixed Cad Green Light and Lemon Yellow. I used mixtures of Yellow Ochre and Prussian Blue too.

Wow! Water is very difficult to paint well, and you have it down!

I think it's wonderful. The only comment I could make is to maybe tone down the light blue a tad in the lower right corner.. so it doesn't distract from the focal point (the boat and dock). It's lovely, esp the colors.

Thanks Janet and Kindra.......extremely generous of you both.:)
You have inspired/confirmed my theme for the new challenge! :) This is lovely. I really like your colors. The tilted horizon is a little distracting but perhaps that's just the photo?

Thanks Tali.......It is the photo that causes that distorted look. I notice that photos of small paintings ( at least mine) seldom do them justice. They seem to be a little too up close and personal. :)

This is nice chief, good atmosphere, and color. I like the looks of the bank at the waters edge.
