Both good, but the lower one gets my nod.
It's been eons since I've been there, but the lower one recalls the Cape and its environs and evokes happy memories for me.

Both are nice.. but I vote for the second one too.

the sense of paint is always luxuriously present. I think the lacking of value sort of brings the first one down. The second one on the otherhand benefits from the same tendency. It definitely has an oriental slant to its design. Very nice I think.

Hi Kathleen. I have to go with the flow on these two paintings. The first one is not getting the story across to me, but wow, the second one hit the mark. I can just feel the water crashing on the shore and it's a little beauty. Lenore

pretty in their pastel paleness, but i miss the punches of color and just cannot warm up to that bubble gum pink
