I found a pretty darn good figure drawing tutorials ( at least in my opinion)here http://www.charcoalandpencildrawing.com/how-to-draw.html i really like how they simplified the whole thing and seems effective to me . i think it would help a lot of beginners and just wanted to share it.

Aaron - thanks for posting this. I think, so far the lessons are ok - though it seems like the goal is to get people signed up for paid/subscribed lessons ? ( not sure)... i can't say the method ( like on the foreshortened figure demo video is goodness or.. less - as the construction is problematic and the final product has much in the way of challenges - esp wrt to perspective. the text is LONG and perhaps could say more with less.. but it is FREE!!! also, I wonder where one can draw from the live model with a TV blaring in the background ? does not compute.

yes the demos are not very good oi noticed that too, few r ok though. But i think the main tutorial itself, wat it talks about and how it simplifies and offers wat kind of exercises one should do are excellent. not just becuz its free. but yes, texts are kind of congested and long but still important to read and understand in my opinion
