La, I love what you have done with this. Lots of drama. The cap in the middle sort of brings them back to sanity. Still look like they are "up to no good" as my grandma would say. Love it.

tooo cool La_...I watched this in the wip...and am so glad to see where you stopped...they are so teenaged aren't they...
I'm wondering....since you chose to bring the color to her forehead....and considering it's location in your comp....
what would it look like if you carried it just a little more to her right eye....inside the mask...and if it were blue....
.......her eye that is....hahaha..............or not...hahaha..............this is fun.....different....like it lots.....yd
ps:.....poooor teddy......http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/04-Aug-2009/182771-xanimal_sickbears2.gif

Thanks Guys 'n Gals! :) they are good girls up to no good and played their parts well. i love teens :D Had hoped it would come across as a little crazy, spooky, contemporary - i know teens can be a little scary around the edges - especially girls sometimes these days! so much meaner than they used to be :eek: but alas these ones are kinder than kind (but cool :lol: and i really am so very lucky to have them around :heart:)

one blue eye eh, a most interesting idea that i'll have to psych myself up to!

anyway, the foreground is [still] irritating to me but i'm ignoring it because from a distance i notice it less and if the edges are all dry by tomorrow i'll drop it of at a local info center show and get it out of my line of site for a month.

me thinks perhaps to have it made into a postcard might sell 2$ maybe?

i'd like to matt it like this ... is there such a matt, or similar, in the world?

psst... teddy's fine; sewn with 10lb test :smug:

What a cool and unique painting you've created! I love the added colors, and the way the girl in the middle is looking at you nomatter where you walk in the room! Creepy cool! Also love the film strip idea for a postcard. Not sure where you could find those, but I hope you do!! L.

Fun stuff La! You must have a lot of teen agers in your life. All your work shows a certain edgy youthfulness.
Love the border... where did you find the one you used on the painting?

s'pose you could cut your own matt? it looks very cool....

tlmarchi, thank you too, eyes are so cool arn't they = )

hey spyder, haha, yeah, between the teens in my life and the teen that still lives in my brain ... youth surrounds me = )
the border on the image is just a 'frame' from paintshop

yd, suppose i could - if i had a clue ! alas, no clue here :}
