Title: A present to Suzi
Allow digital alterations?: Yes!
My friend had two frames and asked me to fill them with two realistic paintings, so I went to the port of Jaffa where the fishermen sail from their boats, and here the results are.
MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
Any fixings you suggest before I give them to her?
All c&c are welcome.

Suzi is lucky. Can I be your friend? I've always liked your work and your signature style but seeing you applying it in a representational way is mind blowing. There are only two possible improvements I can suggest. On both paintings, you've got high value background elements (building at right in #1; wharf in #2). They perhaps stand out too much taking attention from the more important elements in the foreground so glazing each to bring the value to a less obtrusive level could perhaps get an improvement.

Thanks tgsl. I absolutly agree with your comment about the background. I'll quiet the colors so the main will look stronger. Yes! you can be my friend. Good friends enjoy me.
wow, ronni, very cool!
my only pick is the beard on the fellow on the dock - no arguing in matters of taste, but i'd shave him! lol

great stuff ronni!!! I especially like the second one because the painting method is uniform throughout the painting. The first I absolutely love the way you've done the water, but it makes the upper half of the painting seem rather dry (pun intended) Some of that same luxurious exuberance is needed topside!

I like them both Ronni. They are just so fun to look at and the second one has lots of energy...........Lenore

Ronni, they are both wonderful paintings, and your friend will be "over the moon" to get them. The boat comes first with me, as I love boats!!!!!

Great stuff, absolutely wonderful.
Ronni, these are stunning! Your friend will be delighted. I really enjoy the contrast between the busy second painting and the quiet first painting. The light is beautiful.
