http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/27-Jul-2009/71788-BILD0208.JPG Hello everyone,
I am learning so much here, I doesn't quite beat a workshop but it comes close! I've been going through the tutorials and trying to remember what I've learnt - It's hard, as the dementia years come closer!

I actually did a WIP on this one, mainly because it took so long I had plenty of time to take photos. It a mix of pastel pencils - Giaconda Kohinoors, Carbothellos, Derwent and some precious Pitts and some cheap Mont Martes - with underpaintings of a few Art Spectrum pastels. C&C's greatly appreciated.

Hello again, and thanks to everyone for your encouraging comments.
For Nadia and crazywoman53 who asked for the WIP, here it is - I might have to do it in a couple of replies.
Unfortunately I didn't photograph the first sketch!

1- Sketched, body blocked in and a start on the head (One ear done)

2- TWO ears! I can hear!

3- Folds of skin that form gliding 'wings' between front & back legs added

Ok, that's the first lot! I'll start another reply for the rest as my computer is getting slower by the minute!
Cheers,
