View Full Version : Joseph Zbukvic will never be the same!

I saw some of the paintings of Joseph Zbukvic recently and also his DVD. I have never seen anything that good before.
I mentioned this to Joy (my wife) and she said why don't you go on one of his courses? -You are 71 now and a lot could happen in the next 12 months and you might never go.
So October 7th I have booked with him for a week in Catalonia, Spain.
Eat your hearts out.
I guess I am pretty lucky to have our Joy!
Will report when i return

Brava for Joy! She has her priorities in the right place.
Sounds like the Joseph Zbukvic workshop is going to be a happening event.

Heheh, I just heard from Z and warned him. You know the #1 fear of all workshop instructors is that an Arnold Lowrey or Joseph Zbukvic will show up! :p

Lucky you, Arnold...both for having a wonderful, "all-knowing" wife AND for being able to go to a Joseph Zbukvic workshop! I'm sure you could show him a thing or two; you're a fantastic artist in your own right.

How very exciting. Something to definitely look forward to. Are you flying down there? If so you might want to pack your brushes in your carry on luggage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YGc4zOqozo

I am so envious...I have been a fan of his work for the past three years and I'm greatly influenced by his work. I have all of his dvds and his book and believe that he is a superb teacher. I knew about this workshop in Spain but after much soul searching decided that at this time, having already had two vacations this year, that I couldn't afford it. Next time maybe....

Just got a copy of JZ's book from the library. His work is stunning and even more stunning is that he shows you how to achieve it. What a generous artist! I might say your work is also stunning too, Arnold. Thanks for the inspiration. Have a great time at the workshop. Joyce :music: :music:

Your wife has displayed uncommon wisdom. First, she agreed to marry you. :). Next, this sage advice on not delaying!
