Still need to go back over the face and add detail, it's still just pretty much a tonal drawing at this point.

Still a LONG way to go...

Thanks Tanja & Scott.

I'm using Rembrandt Sticks Tanja. I still have to play with them to figure out how to get the detail I want. This is my second pastel piece so I haven't really gotten completely used to them yet. I usually do colour pencil work.

It's also being done on a full sheet of Pastel Board so it's quite a large piece.

Very nice and pretty impressive! Even more impressive, when you know it is Rembrandt! :-)

 WOW...you guys are WAY to kind! Thanks for all the great comments and the support :D

Sorry Karen, I really don't know the brand of the paper...I just had asked for a large piece of pastel paper. Apparently it's pastel paper mounted on board. I will try to find out though, it's great to work on.

Thanks again everybody!

I like your careful detail, what a draftsman. Keep going in this style, I like to see linear techniques. beautiful.

Hi Mitch - its been a while since I've been around - it's good to see you are still going strong. I love the wrinkles in his skin can't wait to see your progression. Great job!
