i made this piece to submit to the state fair. i assembled a vase, fish, jellyfish, star fish, sand dollar, and a glass base into a single piece which is a lamp that will sit on a lighted base. its base is 7x7 inches and the piece is about 16 inches tall.

That's a really cool piece, Mark!:thumbsup: It's really neat that it can be used as a light as well! I'd love to see that in a dark room!:cool: I bet you could sell those in a dive shop. Bravo!:clap: :clap: :clap:

Wow, Mark, what a fabulous piece!!! Love it lighted and unlighted. If you don't win there is something wrong with the judges (like being bribed :D ). Keep up the great work!!!

Mark that is wonderful - I really like the way you've incorporated the jelly fish into the piece and the fact that it lights up makes it even more stunning. :clap: :clap:

Beautiful with the light! Good photography too....that's always a challenge with glass isn't it.
