Stokroos.
The dutch word 'stok' would translate into stick or pole and as you may have guessed a 'roos' is a rose and this one grows in my garden.

on A3 tiziano paper.

A slightly different approach you have taken dima.....more blending and less of your expressive line work.....hmmm. I like it but I do think that if you incorporated some of your great pastel line work by adding darker darks and lighter lights this would really jump out of the screen..

I love hollyhocks - they're my favourite flower! :D

I like the softness of this piece - it gives a gentle, romantic feel. My advice, however, would be to give a few harder outline edges to give emphasis. You could do this with negative space - drawing the background up to the edge of the plant to give emphasis.

I would also say, try not to place things right in the middle of the paper. It helps make a more interesting composition if you can think about the edges of your paper and how the subject relates to them.
