I used Interactive Acrylics on watercolour paper to paint this 12" x 9" piece from a photo I took while attending a native Pow Wow in my area. I used the acrylics in a watercolour manner. Critic welcomed.

Great job! Love all of the colors you used, and the expression on the child's face. Do you have any idea how old the child was?

The color combination is very attractive. I like the child's eyes. Your painting makes me want to paint on watercolor paper, too.

Deb I think the child was probably around 6. He looks a little older in my painting than in the photo. This is the reference photo I used. He caught my eye - he is so precious.

Dolores, thanks for sharing the photo!

I agree, it is hard to tell how old he is, he has such a pensive expression
on his face, and his eyes probably look older than his true age. You have done a great job on his eyes!

(I might soften his lips, especially the top, a bit...)

Do you know what tribe he is from?
