Hi all,

Here's a VERY quick study I did while recently driving through the Owens Valley, here in California. I'm still trying to get used to using acrylics. So different from oils! I also used a limited palette - just to confuse myself a little more.... ;)

Thanks for looking..

I think you could get away with calling this a finished impressionistic piece.

I really like the freshness of this one - I would hang it on my wall. What size is it?

Love this one. It's perfect just as it is. Good for you for trying acrylics, especially PA. They are very different from oils, as I'm learning also.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all your encouraging words. Acrylics have been a real challenge for me. Well, it's all a challenge.... Anyway, I can't wait to try some more!

Cheers...

Oh, sorry. It's 8x10 on a canvas panel.

Thanks....
