36X36" on canvas with acrylics and a few specialty mediums. Some are hard to detect due to the nature of the pigments.

I hope this isn't a stupid question, but what did you use to get such perfect circles?

I really like this one. There is something about the feel to it, that draws me to it! Well done :)

The circles in many instances are not perfect, but, that is with intent.

I make these templates and use them for the circles. If some paint runs under, all the better.

With everything you do I have this desire to "touch", very tactile to me.
I love the colors in this one and the transparent strip of that rusty looking red,
and how it feeds from the background. Quite a stunning piece, very ethereal to me which is a great part of contemplation, perfect title and yet substantial and earthy.

WOW!
I could crawl into this and just cease to be for a while.
It has a sense of impact and inner peace Howard.
It is linear without lines (every object/line is not perfectly straight)
I like this very much.
Actually I could go on & on about this one.

There are so many wonderful textures here that I hardly know which little section I like best! It would be such fun to take a class from you!

Wow... big painting Howard!
I love all the subtle colours and changes and overlays going on in the background.

So much happening, will need to come back! :D

Elaine already said most of what I have to say on this one. Definitely one of my favourite pieces of yours, Howard. Great finish.

Wonderful Howard! This one has such a deep almost 3D effect. I really like the colors and the layers and layers of interesting things to look at and Comtemplate.

Very nice Howard. My favorite part is the red strip with green circles. Draws me in!

Howard, I agree with Elaine, "Contemplation" is a perfect title for this. Wonderful.

Your work must be seen in person to truly appreciate its beauty as your details have shown. This composition is very exciting and a little different for you I think. Wonderful piece all the way around Howard!
