Superb! Love the window latch! Is this a window in your studio? If so, you have a wonderful view!

I like the geometric forms in this and the harmonious colors. It just seems a little flat, perhaps that was your intent. If not some shadows might help.

I like the paintbrush setting on the ledge. It makes me think that the artist was busy painting, when all of the sudden he is moved bythe view before him, stops and sits back to appreciate it.

Thanks for your comments, Maria, Arl, Colleen, amd Kathie.
Maria - I'm not sure what you mean when you say flat ?

I meant that if your light source is coming from the left side, there should be stronger shadows on the right of the objects, which would give them more depth.
Sometimes we have to exagerate things to make them look proper. If that wasn't you intent, then please forgive me.
I tried to demonstrate with my software and this is close to what I mean.

Thanks for clarifying, Maria. No need to apologize, that's why I post.

Very nice! It made me think of someone just finishing painting for the day and then setting down the brush and gazing out, relaxing the mind.

Peter beautiful and I too, as you know love your style. And I do love the paint brush on the window sill, how perfect.

Hi Peter! First of all I want to say that I think your painting is very soothing to view! I like the recession as well as the near objects on the sill. It has a real painterly look. Congratulations on a job well done sir!

Tony: Thank you, kindly, Sir!

Nicely done Peter. Very interesting composition. Tony said it well, it is soothing.
This is very nice indeed. It has an old world charm - as if Van Gogh might be nearby, just out of view. I love the palette and find the composition both interesting and pleasing.
