Hello All:

I was perusing the Scottsdale Artists' School website this morning when I came across a notice that William Whitaker will be teaching a week long portrait workshop in April of 2003.

This is great news to me as I love Bill's work and am just jumping at the opportunity to work with him. I called them and signed up immediately.

Here are the details for the class:

April 28, 2003 to May 2, 2003
William Whitaker
The Face of Infinity - Capturing the Spirit of the Head in Oil
- Oil
- Intermediate to professional
- Tuition: $450

You can check out their website at:
http://www.scottsdaleartschool.org

I suspect that this class is going to fill up fast as Bill does not often do public workshops. This is your chance! You can sign up by calling 800-333-5707.

If you are not familiar with Bill's amazing work, check out his website at www.williamwhitaker.com.

Would love to do the art walk!

Linda:

Air fares right now are pretty cheap for a flight next April. Also, SAS offers discounted room rates at several nearby hotels, and you may be able to find someone to split the room cost with you to bring your expense down even further.

Aren't I Evil???

there are also scholarships.
If you contact the school and are accepted to the class you can apply for a scholarship from the school. There is always ONE seat saved for scholarship folks. Submit 6 slides and tell them why you can't live without the class. Contact the school for the details.

So all that means is airfare and hotel. George, so you also run a travel agency? ;)
