Title: Summer Shade
Allow digital alterations?: Yes!
I found this in the image library. Many thanks to the contributor. The arms on the figure second from the right don't show up in the photo but they look fine on the painting.
MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:

The pic(painting) looks like South Europe. I think if you make the colors something warmlyer it looks more South of Franche.

Nice job on all the figures, looks very realistic. I do like the suggestion KTusa has given, but I'm always influenced by color. Your call....Lenore

I think this is very beautifully done. I do like the palette as is, but I think some of the buildings could use more warming to suggest that the tents/umbrellas are for shade rather than rain :) I really, really, like it, though.

Very nice painting, does make one think of Europe. Very nice indeed. Thanks for sharing.

I like it subdued....just as it is.....true....it looks a little more like a rainy day....
perhaps it would be easier to change the title than the painting......
and you'd be braver than I to risk loosing this wonderful feel.......yd

Thank you yd. I'm with you. I think I'll keep the subdued colors.

I like the subdued colors. It is much more beautiful than the gaudy colors of the lower painting and reflects the mood so much better. Nice job.

Hi Brian, as usual a masterful piece of work! With just the slightest touches of 'sheen' it would be rain as has already been well said. The low key gray scenario is fetching! It is a general truth that the greater number of people are drawn to warm colors rather than cool...it may be so. I do myself find a sense of joy and comfort in the warm version. The reality though is well taken...we have both!
