This was a sign that I decided to paint on the back so that my sister-in-law could hang it up in her store and not have an eyesore facing inside. I apologize for the quality, but this is the only picture I have of it. Critique welcome. This sign is propped up in front of my art studio steps.

Dee...check it out if you are ever in Stuttgart...down Main Street...you might see it in the window as an advertisement for candles...the inside has this painting.

Lavender Frost: Thank you for another sweet compliment!
Tracy!!! Oh my goodness...I'm from Sioux Falls...your work is mouth dropping beautiful...and as I was waltzing though your beautiful paintings...I saw...the Falls!!!!!! Also the place where Jesse James jumped the gorge...that is the place, isn't it...Palisades Park? Oh my...I'm just so delighted to see familiar scenes...the hay and corn fields and the ever present moo-cows...
Let me tell you something exciting...I'm coming up, hopefully, the first week in June to paint an outdoor mural for my Aunt...and it will be by that 57th Street by the river...I'm going to paint this picture that I took last year....any suggestions on color....lighting...anything...please let me hear from you!
Well...it won't let me load it...tried several times...the image fits the format too...will try later!
Oh...and, LOL!!! Thank you for the high compliment today~You so sweet!!!!!
this is superlative!!!

Gosh, Ruth...you needn't be so stingy on your compliments!!!! (BIG smile), and yes, you are welcome.
I always like to give a little advertising to artists whose work shouts back at me...and the paintings you have on your website are outstanding...the way you capture light, water, reflection...you're good at handling your subject, and not limited by them...you do people, stillife, and landscapes amazingly well...worth a wink and a visit to New Zealand! See....no fudging on the compliment here...rich and full bodied!

I love the colors and composition. It is striking, yet relaxing.

Thank you for checking it out. I'm challenged by painting realistic water and reflection.
