I like it. It has its usual, signature ambiguity in theme and color that I've come to expect from you. I also like that its *almost* a triptyche, but its subtle irregularities keep it from looking like a mindless print. Good work :)

I think this is the sort of thing that could really grab someone or not. For me it's not (in terms of "do I like it"). I do offer a couple of improvement ideas.

The eggs seem flat. You've shaded and modeled them so perhaps the villain is rather hard edges. Also, regarding eggs topmost and bottommost, transparent paint has done you in. The stripes clearly show. So unless this is intentional, more layers (pun intended, haha) are called for.

This makes me think of high rise apartment buildings at night where you might catch a glimpse of each apt dweller through their window.

Sam, exactly! Thanks so much :D i love this place

hey tg, glad you chimed in 'cause i know you'd find something and i thank you for that ... however http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/28-Apr-2009/84648-182771-darksmiley.gif forever a however ... the transparency is indeed intentional as, pour moi, the city, in all it's complexity, is an epitome of transparency. Flat eggs tho, that just won't do! Contrast is my friend :cat:

Spyerbabe, exactly! Thanks so much too :D :music:

yarddog, i thought of me too, when i saw mosteller's egg (which is totally way more fabulous by the way!) 'tis good it glows, cities glow http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/28-Apr-2009/84648-182771-electricf.gif lol thanx

Now this is my favourite of yours, seeing as red is my favourite colour!!!!!

One point though, the middle egg, you lost its perfect shape a little, can you reclaim it? The other two look neat.

I love the changes in the red back ground, lights, glow, etc. and the contrast with the dark dark edges. The eggs need more modeling thoug, more shape. The middle one is a bit too irregular for me. This is rather cool. But needs a little something in the eggs themselves Really interesting.

I thought the same thing Kathleen did the minute I saw this. It's got a voyeuristic quality to it!
