Very unique. Almost a spiritual quality to it.

Intriguing. It gives me the feeling of individuality, and yet we're all the same.

I want to ask everyone in the forum if it is a good idea to paint in diverse styles. I have a grasshopper mind. I don't think anyone takes you seriously as an artist if you don't stick to one type of way of painting.

Well I have a grasshopper mind too gayatri! I paint for two different markets - online and gallery, so I am jumping back and forth between the two all the time.

I tend to be the same way Lulu.
Mind you, I have never had a problem with the Gallery selling anything that they accept, and often times it is very different that the last group submitted to them. On line is totally different, as there they seem to accept that I do landscapes only. So I opened another site for "Other things" and am in the process of switching from the first to the second so I am able to post a variety of styles (subjects).
The public can be fickle.
But there are ways around that. :wink2:

Interesting!

Thanks very much for all who looked and those who took the trouble to comment.

gayatri, I like this! Very different and I love the colors.

I've wondered about the "different styles" thing too. And also wondered if painting a different style under a different name might be one way around it....like some authors do.

Do any artists do just that?

Dee - My friends tell me to paint whatever I want - but to show different galleries works done in one particular style - and not a mix.

I think that is good advice.

Please accept my apologies Gayatri.
I answered Lulu in your thread and completely forgot to tell you, just how much I liked this work!:o

For the record, I like this very much.
Hope to see more from you!

I don't mind at all. i am glad that my query got me some feedback about how to handle painting in different ways.

Glad you liked the work.

I really like this, bet it looks amazing IRL. I think you have to paint what you want to have the real artistry come thru, forging your own style, and you certainly are.
