Hi All here is a piece that I did awhile back It was when miss Cleo was pretending to be jamician...... Somewhere I saw a really cool glass piece done by someone famous (cant remember the name of the artist) It just stuck out in my head and I always wanted to do something like it.... Here is my version.... I want you to know that I didnt do the piece in very thick ml as I was in a hurry and didnt want to take the time to create a thicker project. (more kiln time etc. This was to go in a frame of lead when I finished it however It never made it... Someday It will go in my garage.
The hair is made with Pulled stringers and so was the outside of her face, It was a fun project and I had fun doing it, I wish I would have layered it more (made the glass thicker as it is not a stable piece. Stacylynne

OK how about this ...when I come down to San Diego IN november...maybe I could take a fusing class from you. I think my kiln will do its a hex? 9 inches deep and 12 or 15 across. A jenKen.
I want to be able to fuse...otherwise what am I going to do with all those tiny left over stringers!

Stacylynne -
You're a hoot! I think I'd put it in a more prominent place than the garage...It's cute as the dickens!
