Hi Doc!!
These are great paintings!!
Fabulous figures in both, the sky and trees are awesome, only thing bugs me is the cross post is kinda crooked, cross is great but the post below it is off a tad.. Wonderful rock the boy is on.. great details. I love how you have them faceless!! Great ideas!

the painting of the boy is just class  the light is fantastic, great texture to the rock and love the boy    Reminds me of the Jungle Book :)
Love the girls painting too, their hair is so touchable and real. Love the movement and the mood of it  My only nitpick would be the little ones boots, the one on our right more than the left. It feels like the toe is facing towards the viewer, not away from us. But other than that, just gorgeous

I like 'em both, but the second is definitely the stronger of the two. That light haloing the boy's head is amazing.

Great work on both Doc! I also noticed the crooked post. I love the second one of the boy. Fabulous work!

Both of these are strong and bequiling. Obviously from an artist of great dedication. Beautiful!

I always believe that the goal of art is to make the viewer feel, and you've accomplished it beautifully with both of these. Thank you.

Thank you Kathie, Susan, Kathrin, Andy, JJ, Purple, Arlene, Gayle, Linda, Michelle, Bret, Lillian, Steven, Ruthie, Lulu, Sharon and bingibongi. bingibongi [I like that name] the girls are 16x20 and the boy is 12x16. Both acrylic [of course] on wood panel. I had gotten away from drawing and painting for some years. I started back this year and I'm still trying to find what brush works...what surface works...etc...within my very limited budget. Doc

Like everyone else think they are both well done but the second of the boy is exceptional.
