Fabulous you've got the look of an old truck painted so very well. The only thing that looks off to me is the white of the truck glass, looks too opaque and white to me. OMHO

Love it! Great texture and color. The distant cliffs just glow. Nice subject too.

Doctasi: may I make a suggestion. Usually you don't want the same space on each side of your object and the sides of your painting. In marine art you like to show you ship entering the painting and not in the middle of the painting or leaving the painting. I just think your composition would be better if the truck were off center. I added just a little to the left side. Perhaps it could stand just a little more space on the left side.
By the way you did a great job on the landscape, sky and on the truck itself. I'm not sure about the green under the truck. The straight line of pavement to the right side of the truck made me expect to not see grass under the truck.

You have had some good advice and crits. I really enjoyed the brushstrokes and colours. Also love the wooden frame of the pick-up. Good work.

good work as in the trucks than in the cliffs!

Enjoy every bit of this one but I really like the truck, nicely done!

Thanks everyone. And I agree about the glass and it would look better if the subject were off center. And I think I'll take that grass out.

Very cool. Other than the grass, I wouldn't change a thing.

I really like the warmth of this painting, and the "personality" of the truck!
