Haven't been on Wetcanvas for a while. Busy painting and stuff...

Here is a piece I finished this week.
Acrylics (duh) on canvas - 80 x 60 cm.

As always all C&C most welcome.

As usual, this is great Peter! I am always surprised when I don't see a cityscape...but a very nice surprise!!! I love the log/fallen tree!! Wonderful sense of distance!! Wish I could see it in person!!

:wave: It's such a pleasure to see your work again Peter! The sense of expanse is wonderful and the contrasts in the foreground are beautiful and look so right. This is an amazing painting! :thumbsup: :D

Love it! There's a nice movement throughout, drawing the eye around, starting with the trees, then clouds, and that wonderful field. The log seems like a great place to rest.

Very nice, very distinctively yours and a nice change from the cityscapes you have been doing. This is one I would like to see in real life.

Hi Peter! It is alovely scene and you have captured the light of Provence qute well in it too. It is nice to see a rural scene of yours for a change too sir!
