This one I did in response to the Open Critique challenge of Peppers here (http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=556429). The original pix is nothing like this of course.

These are clay pots that we'll be throwing out since it's over 20 years old and we are moving. The tall one is to brew Chinese medicinal herbs in. The smaller ones are to make clay pot rice which is more fragrant than electric rice cooker. I don't trust Chinese made goods anymore even if it was 20 years old and Chinese have used it for centuries.
And I used one of these for my elves. (I put my manikins in them.)

There is a story to this one. When I was little, I imagined stories and conversations at night in English while in bed so that I could practice speaking English in Hong Kong. Actually, I have always imagined conversations of elves back then, wishing I had real elves dancing in my bed for me to play with.
To this day, elves interest me. So the story with these two is that they have to look for food inside the house of an old fisherman who has gone out to fish for the day. But not finding any, they curled back into their pot to sleep the morning off.
Since I am older now, I draw older adult elves doing adult stuff rather than those that flit around in pretty clothes.
