Not done with this yet. Any suggestions to improve it. I'll just be putting in more reds and highlights. Its 16x20" canvas

This has a wonderful feel. The cherries really pop off the surface. If it were mine I would develop the wood surface a bit. I like this!

the cherry in the front is nice and round, looks great! The cherries in the back need to be rounder, since they are somewhat oblong they look more like red grapes. Just a suggestion. You have done a wonderful job on the shading and creating a 3d feel.

I think getting the 3d look of the wood is going to be hard. I have no idea how to approach that.

Funny thing about cherries, tho - unless maraschino, they usually not all that pea-pod round...:eek: nicely done... :thumbsup:

This is terrific. I think you could strengthen the shadows on the cherries themselves as the shadows are very strong on the table and not so on the cherries.

You already have a nice translucency to the cherries but I think they would benefit from more layers to strengthen them.
I agree with Gayle about the table top too - it's just a bit mechanical at present.
