18 x 24 canvas. I've painted this LH before but, had never been there until last week. The strong shadows and highrlights on the cliffs proved to be quite challenging. The vantage point I was on gave me vertigo!
C&C's welcome...................

Wow. I really like the clean almost sterile lines of the buildings juxtaposing against the impressionistic lines of the cliff..

This is so expressive.
You have captured the Massiveness of the cliffs so well Tony.
An unbelievably powerful painting.

Hi, Just saw your painting and think it's quite impressive. Those cliffs sure look awesome and I can imagine how hard it was to capture them. Haven't been there in years and miss the landscape. Hoping to go sometime this year. Lil

This is really well done Tony. The building is really sturdy and the cliffs are so treacherous. A great scene.

Wow! I'm so impressed by all your comments. I feel as though the feeling came through on the canvas. Let me just say this was a rather scary place for me. I don't like heights. There are no guard rails, no danger signs, if you where to fall over no one would know for days. The only way I could express this was with brushstrokes and the knife for the highlights. Cabo Rojo means
" Cape Red " as in Cape Cod. I saw no red colors at all but, figured out that whoever named this part of the island saw it at sunset and those cliffs shone red at that time. Again, thanks for looking and your comments.....Tony
