This is a paper mache dinosaur I did. It's covered in tree bark and stands about a foot high maybe. It was my first paper mache animal. Its not complete yet, but its nearly done. All C/C welcome!

Wasn't sure what to expect when I opened your post. He is so adorable! Using the bark is really clever - I like how it gives you the feeling of scales. Do you use bark for most of your paper mache creations?

Thanks! I don't use bark for all of them, sometimes I just use paint, other times I've used poppyseeds! My sister likes to do them too. She's used feathers before and even leaves! She has an account on here too, Megalosaurus. Thanks you guys! :grouphug:

I love it, and obviously the little frog does too, who's looking so adoringly at him. Have you looked at Andrew Goldsworthys work, I have a book called 'Wood', I think you'd like his stuff. He works in all sorts of other thins to, rock, flowers, petals etc. I to look forward to seeing more of your cool creations...

This is very cool. What an imagination and so lifelike. You are so talented and creative! Looks like I've stepped into the land of the lost!
