18 x 24 canvas. Got close enough to these little birds to snap a ref pic before they scurried away. C & C's welcome................

Very nice. The reflections are great and the white wave crest is well-placed. I believe those are sandpipers. Well done.

Very nice - the water is well done and so is the sea foam! The sandpipers are the "nice" birds from the beach - damn those seagulls!!

You've nailed it, I feel as if I am nearby watching a very typical scene at the beach.

This whole composition is breathtaking Tony.
What colours do you use for your water?

Jeff, thanx for the comments and the name of the birds. I kinda knew they were called that, just wasn't sure.

Thanx for the comments Robert!

Angela, Thank you for looking and comments.

Thank you Sue, as always, for the comments.

Thank you Aires, this took a while to capture as they kept flying away from me as I approached them, they seem to work together and very focused on what they were doing picking up bits of something to eat that the tide brought in.

Susan, thank you for looking and the comments.

Libelle, Appreciate your wonderful comments , thank you.

Kathleen: Thank you for the comments! Colors used for water: C-blue, phalo green, U-marine blue, Torquise,T-white and a splash of orange and yellow.
I used a medium I've been experimenting with also for the fine particles on the beach, fine lava rock spread with a knife starting underneath the foam and working out. This gave it a gritty look I was after. This medium is black when applied but, colored over with the colors of the water. TJ

Really like the variety of blues that you have used to give those areas interest.
The "gathering" of the sandpipers is just right and so well rendered.
