Hi All,
I am almost out of paper and was wondering if anyone here can point me towards a supplier of Wallis by the roll. I've been rationing what I have left, and am down to three sheets of 18x12 white and three of Belgian mist. I prefer the white since I do underpainting sometimes and as wide as I can find so I can cut my own sizes. Any referrals would be greatly appreciated as we have no art supply stores here and I order online.
Thanks!

Hi Dru, I found Wallis by the roll at Dakota Art Pastels (http://www.dakotapastels.com/pages/paper-wallis.aspx) and also at Fine Art Store (http://www.fineartstore.com/Catalog/tabid/365/List/1/CategoryID/4404/Level/a/Default.aspx?SortField=UnitCost%2cUnitCost).

Dru, remember that if you buy a roll you must flatten the paper before painting on it. The Pro grade has more memory than the Museum, thus it takes a bit more doing to flatten out. I buy it by the sheet because I can store it flat and it stays flat. I've found the end of a roll of Wallis Pro can be so tightly curled it's sometimes hard to even unroll. One of my students had to have it dry mounted to work on. Maybe you're using a roll already and know this, but if not it's worth considering.

Thanks Donna and Deborah. I could not remember where I got the last roll. Now I am thinking of getting it by the sheet, they sell bigger sheets than I knew they had... and it's less work. More time for painting!
