I am planning to go and buy some Artists Quality acrylics after using student acrylics and see what the difference is? I want to do landscapes, clouds, animals, birds ,people and was wondering what few colours I would need?Also could someone reccomend a good brand that is cheap http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

animal....Golden is a good quality acrylic that is usually a bit cheaper than Liquitex or WinsorNewton. Some colors will be less expensive than others. You will notice that the cobalts and cadmiums will be more expensive.
Select a warm and cool of each primary to begin with along with white titanium. You will find that a wide range of colors can be achieved by mixing your primaries.

Purchase the best artist quality that you can afford...they will last longer, give you a more brilliant color, mix well, and you will be much happier with the effects you are able to achieve.

I went out and bought the liquitex brand but have not had a chance to try them yet http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/cool.gif. I Have been busy priming masonite.
