I'm a new beginner to acrylics, and I was looking for resources to lessons via the internet. I mean lessons outside Wetcanvas. Thank you, and I find the lessons here ot be helpful, but there aren't very many.:cool

One of my favorites, especially for acrylics in Don Jusko's site. There is a wealth of information there about color, painting plein air...just about anything you can think of! It's at http://www.mauigateway.com/~donjusko/
Enjoy!

Also do a search for art lessons, acrylic painting, workshops, that sort of thing and see what you can find.

One source I have found to be helpful is http://www.yarnellart.com/index.html. I have several of his videos and they have helped me a great deal with my acrylic painting.

Happy painting,

Dee

Wow...a new beginner! I've grown to tire of those old ones! http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/wink.gif

Nice to have you here. The links mentioned are good. I consider Don from Hawaii a friend, and Carly's right on as far as any help you'd want. In fact, of nearly any media. Don has about 240 pages of info on his site available!! We differ on why color works for me when it shouldn't...hahaha, but that's another matter.

Also...do become committed to sticking around Wetcanvas. There are good lessons in the Artschool, and good artists here. I have one on painting a larger Acrylic plein air here for you to check out! Take care and have fun!

I visited your site. It's really good. I too have had that sudden impulse to do that, but I never have had my supplies with me, and was in too much of a hurry anyway. O well. What is your favorite media? I am mostly doing watercolors, but have acrylics supplies too. I like the sites on wetcanvas, and am starting to use them more. Bye, and thanks.
