MY COMMENTS:
same evening as the one with the tree, same mountains. I wanted to catch the last twinkle of light on the top of the house, as the sun sank.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
is is moody enough.

ah yes, the tree. This shows the time of day just perfectly.

DJ, This is lovely. The only suggestion I have is that you darken the sky a little at the top of the canvas. The sky usually does get darker as you go up, and it will balance the entire painting, keeping your eye from running off the edge. Monet did that a lot. Just make it get a little deeper blue or violet.

the light you have captured here is
one of my favorite types of light
rich, warm and almost gone
with dramatic angles

the light is angling up
so, not so sure the top of the sky
would be darker at all

Ah, there she is. Not Full Montey yet, but a hint, just a hint of the artist hidin' in one of those huts.

(obligatory smiley face:)
