nice palette.
I get the sense the one taking a stroll is approaching the other.

yummy colors
more definition than most of your work
love the lighting and shading
use of colors
deep rich realistic colors
exaggerated Jerry-style

liking the near/ far/ on to the horizon
all balancing out in the composition

delicious

Nice strong horizontal lines to give the verticals of the figures lots of punch. I'm not sure about the loop shape behind the female figure, seems a little confused. Maybe I'm just confused. Dynamic colours, defintiely say sand sun and surf. I love the light in all of your paintings.

Love the off centre feel here as if you, the viewer, are coming into the picture also. A slightly more formal or revealing approach in this one? Somehow the sea feels a little flat? Nevertheless, enchanting as always!:cat:

G'day Jerry,
Like the way you can portray what I would call a complex image (and a striking compostion might I add) with so few strokes . .that's talent!!
IMHO, Two things draw my eye . .the nose on the foreground lady appears "smudged" (for want of a better word) . . and the sea in the background seems to include a clear rectangle (albeit slightly wave shaped!). Still, the composition is so strong that the focal point overpowers these areas and brings me back on line.

Don't know how people get away with using colours like these and still make them work togerther so well . . ho hum . . . still lots to learn at this end!!
Cheers

Kind of looks like they are at a cliff's edge over looking a vast grassy knolled plain with a horizon above a long cool lake. But beach or cliff, either works. My eye is drawn all around the painting. A pleasure to find the purple in the gal's face.

Nice piece, love the way it works all around. Agree about the nose of the person in the foreground

What might have been a relatively ordinary composition is made much more interesting by your choice of cropping.
An understated painting with just a bit of mystery ;)
Nice work................

the fine blend...
opposites meet...
where paradox lives...
where the truth reveals itself...

at least in the real world...

Really interesting to have people in dark colours on the beach.
Sea looks like a wall to me though. Does not have the feeling of receeding.
As usual love your colours
