Hi, New Breeze (great name)
Glad to see you here. Please pick a photo to paint and then post it, so we can all enjoy.
I have yet to do this project, but I still have a month, or at least most of one. I kind of like the banjo, piano, horn player thingy. We'll see.

EP - your sketches are looking really good
Here's a monoprint of the flower. I think it needs something more to bring focus....any comments or suggestions would be welcome

Thank you. Yours is groovy. I know nothing about monoprints but perhaps if there was contrast with light flower/dark bg OR dark flower/light bg then it would help focus on the focal point?

Here's my passionflower in watercolour, 6 by 8 ins. Used salt for background texture...but got fed up waiting for the salt to dry so used the hairdryer. Doesn't seem to have messed it up too much.
I don't do flowers...but I enjoyed this one and I think I'll have a go at more flowers soon.
thanks for hosting, Trafford!!

Hi azul. I love your striking monoprint. Lovely swirling textures. Great colours too.

Do more flowers Azul. I like the texture and feel of this piece.
Think I'll have to prop up my bum knee and take a jar of water, pan colors and sketch book into bed with me and try to catch up with all the challenges this month.

Sorry about that. You can see what kind of state I'm in. I meant that's a great monotype Azul and do more flowers June........
