View Full Version : my first mostly successful vessels....

All of the talk of vessels had me itchin....Yesterday I got to go play on my Lynx and gave wound hollow vessels another try (one of the previous attempts is still a globby mess stuck at the end of a mandrel). Here are all three that I did. The little red one stands quite well. I don't like the rubino one so much, but I do like the shape. Now I have to learn how to wire wrap vessels and find a bunch of teeny corks! Tell me what you think- I'd really appreciate input!

And here's 2 focal beads I also made yesterday.

Margaret, I like the far right one best. What method did you use?

Margaret, I like the little one in the middle best. Is the far right one flat?

Vessels are really fun when you get em to come out aren't they?

I got my teeeny corks from my local Ace Hardware store in the nuts and bolts section..13 each.

Send us some more:D

Lenda- the third vessel I flattened with mashers, but not as much as I could have (I was a little worried about hitting the mandrel so I didn't press it too much). It's still about 1 cm wide.
Thanks for the input!

HI Margaret! I think those are great vessels for just your 2nd try! I'm sure mine wouldn't be so good. My fav - the one in the middle.

Hi. I like your vessels. I think the shape of the middle one is best, but I like the colors you used in the far left one. Keep up the good work!jug
