I like that orange and green together. Very pretty. Very Indiana, too.

I agree...the colors are wonderful. I also like the depth that you have created. A wonderful play of lights and shadows.

This is wonderful! An excellent showpiece of wet on wet. I love the pinky orange in the sky, it is almost a reflection of the haystacks.

Aurora...thank you for commenting! The orange is really burnt umber mix with yellow ochre. It does show up more orangey here.

Raw Sienna....thank you! I was hoping to get some depth in this painting.

PamB...hey! I did not notice that before. Thank you for looking and commenting.

the contrast between the hay and tree captures my eye. I like how the tree explodes from it's trunk. nice work.

I am assuming that the reason your watercolors are so good is that the colors are just what you are expecting.

Great contrast. Not only in the painting, but in the subject matter. Dry straw stacks on a misty wet day. Someone didnt get chores done!

This is just too amazing even for words! The atmospheric perspective is just breathtaking! The tree and greenery is utterly amazing, well rendered! This is so real that I cannot believe it. It evokes feelings that would also exist if I were to see this scene from a car window or a walk! I cannot say much more; just fantasic and visually stunning!
