Well I did this one a while back. It started as an experiment in watercolour. It didn't turn out the way I wanted it. So I putted some dept in with cp's and wc cp's. And the deepest black and whitest white are with acrylic. http://www.pet-portraitartist.com/forum/images/smilies/dizzy.gif
So you can call this one mixed media. O and it's 6"x4"

There was a soft whimsical feel in the first one, but once you added all the other mediums it really popped.

Sharon I agree. I did like the first version but something was missing. So I'm glad I tried adding cp's and acrylics.

Have you tried Gouache? It may be what you are looking for when working with watercolours
