Nothing difficult.....but as usual, not the best photo reference.

 Helloe, Sue! It's a beautiful family portrait, pair of cuties. :p
To me it looks you did a very good painting.

Did you print it? In what? Paper or canvas?

Good question. I'm just beginning to wrestle with what's the best way, and paper and etc to print digital work. I do my own photography prints (up to 8 x 10 with my Epson R280 and I'm sure it is sufficient for printing artwork as well, but I'm wondering particularly about what paper/surface to print on?

I've only printed/framed a couple of small digital artworks in the past with an older printer.

Maybe this is fodder for a separate thread?

Sue...I put a post here on this earlier, but I guess it got lost or I forgot the submit button.. These are a lovely pair of dog you painted. The coats are nice and shiny and curly. I'm sure the owners are happy to have this portrait of them.

Their fur looks so silky.

Kenny, I ordered matte Ultra Premium Presentation paper from Epson and I'm very happy with the prints I get and it is much more affordable than the art papers.

Thanks everyone, for the comments.

I bring my files to a local printer. I save them at 300dpi resolution in jpeg format. I can have my paintings printed to any size up to 36" X 24". They use archival photo paper. If I can find somewhere to have them printed on canvas, I will try that, but for now, I am very happy with the printing I use now.

Thanks, again!

I may have mentioned that I do my own photo printing up to 8 x 10 but have used Costco photo printing (for that have one available either local or mailorder) for larger prints as Sue indicated and have been real happy with the results. I've not tried it with digital art yet though. I'll have to try it when get something that is worthy.

Jean I have a painting did on canvas paper...It was Office Depot canvas paper...I printed out. Some were good and some of the colors were not so good. but this one of "City Lights on a Snow Night" came out good and I entered in an art show, which got second place. I also sprayed the canvas paper with acrylic clear varnish. I just bought some more canvas paper.. and going to print out and then if my colors aren't as good will paint over with acrylic paint.
