Cheetah mum portrait
Im planning a mum and three teenage cubs painting on a larger canvas and I want to practise a bit on the cheetahs, so well have this one and one other of the three cubs. The main painting will be mum and three on an ant hill looking out onto the horizon with dry long grass all around and one green small bush to give contrast interest.

So here is the start of mum, she calling out to the three teenagers because she found shade under a tree, but they fun shade under the land rover of the filming crew.

Yes , you are on a frenzy:clap:
But thats good for us, we get to see
the great work you post. The lion was
truly magnificent, this one seems to be
heading the same way.

I've always marveled when big cats
show only their bottom canines, looks so
beautiful yet deadly at the same time.

Well, on and off since I could walk
I was sketching animals. After High
School I basically stopped for over
a decade. But I started again, and
glad I did, it really brings me joy.
Keep up the good work.

Your animals always seem to come alive between the first and second stages.

Patrick, Yes, It like the second stage is the focusing part, to see if the contrast between lights and darks at all levels are working.
