I haven't posted anything here for awhile. The last few months haven't been very good for me and artwork but I did finally finish something. It's black scratchboard colored with inks and a touch of colored pencil. Hope you like it and thanks for looking.

Hi: Well drawn. Very striking. I like the way you have used the light especially on the tree branch. Cheers Glen.

HI Harold! I wondered where you disappeared to! Nice painting, I love the fish. The lighting on the tree root or branch really makes it look like it's underwater, very nice. What's next now? Don't keep us waiting so long, ya hear? :-)

Thank you Linn, I appreciate it.

mig rod, I really appreciate the nice comment, thank you.

Hi Glen, thank you for taking the time to look and comment. Light and shadow make such an impact on a picture and I am doing my best to understand it better. Underwater light is kind of cool I think.

Hi FaeLynn, it has been awhile. Not a good last few months for artwork but I'm trying to change that. I'm glad the reflections look ok, it really is hard to get them right when I don't own a scuba tank. The water is cold and I can't hold my breath too long, he he. Not sure what's up next but hope something soon.

Never seen a painting like this...I like it!!! Especially since I go fishing with my husband....always getting my worm caught on something....
Very very good!!

Orph, thank you and glad you like it. I guess it's part of the challenge of fishing and why they sell the hooks and lures in packages instead of singles. LOL

YoungFang, thank you very much.

I love underwater scenes. Although, when the picture was loading from top down, I thought the light flecks was snow and the worm was stuck on a tree limb!
