Please upload one only...your best work from this year....:D Any medium or size...just as long as it's a completed Still Life.
Oh...and whilst I've got your attention....Happy New Year...May it be your best one yet!

I think I have to go with this one .................
And Happy 2009 to everyone - may your year be filled with successful paintings.
Lovely anita. My favorite would have to be the last still life I did of 2008 (although I'm painting today) because it really represents where I want to go as an artist and I'm starting to shape my style.
Getting Ready for Striped Bass Season 18"x24" on Stretched Canvas.
Hope everyone has a great 2009!!!! Looking forward to watching people's progress.

This was a quick, easy choice for me. My brother Dan, (Danju) held a two day session for our small Prairie Artists' Workshop at their home in South Dakota. We had a very productive time of learning, painting, eating, drinking, and laughing together. I feel my best work of the year occurred there when I did this 9x12, oil on masonite panel. Won a ribbon at the Nebraska State Fair, too! What fun! Thanks for starting this thread where we can all see the Best of the Best from each other.

Betty - lovely copperware!

I'll have to go with this - "Full Life".......
And indeed, may the coming year be ever more fruitful, even full in general... Happy New Year all....

I think this one is my best so far.
My brother in law got this for Christmas. I probably could have sold it. Ahh. Reason to paint another one!
Happy New Year.

This will have to do for me. I find still life so darned hard to do.

This is the one I chose for this year. It was a redo of an earlier version I did the year before and I think a huge improvement over the previous painting.
"Coffee pot and squash" 18x24in. acrylic on canvas

"Snack" is my favorite although it was hard to pick! It's 16 x 20" acrylic on Ampersand Aquabord.

I think Lyle's Roses is my favorite from 2008 (6 x 6 oil on panel)

I am going to choose this one "The Collection". Acrylic on canvas 16X20
90% of my work is still-life so it was tough to decide. I chose this one in the end, because it actually turned out the same as the image I had of it in my mind before I started it. Not something that occurs that often.
