Title: Pears and Grapes
Allow digital alterations?: Yes!
MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
This is WIP. Is it composed correctly?

I think it's physically impossible to have a straight line on the edge of the pot, rather than a cuve, and still see as much of the table top as I see.
I'd have to be looking down at the pot to see that much table top, I think.
Is it composed correctly?
The grapes seem to be your focal point. De-emphasizing the pears will help that idea, I think.

the light and the glow of color in this is just wonderful. There is something going on with the pot and the table though as Bill has noted.

Perspective problems aside (Picasso would say: "What problems?"): one thing I'm loving in this picture is the triangle formed by the stems of the pears and the stalk of the grapes, echoed by the grouping of the fruit. Very satisfying.

Do you mean there should be less of the top of the table showing in the front? Otherwise you could see into the bowl?

Is that better?

Is that better?
Yes, I think so. As you show it in the latest version, the viewer's eyes are about at the edge of of the pot and the perspective comes together more logically.

I like it better now. My wife likes it too. Oh Oh. I'll never get these sold if she keeps liking them for the dining room! Ahh that just makes me do another one and improve on them. Thanks a bunch everyone. Here's the cropped version.
