MY COMMENTS:
Even though I find this pretty, it kind of makes me sad.

Just a bird who's seen better days, I guess.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
Happy to have your feedback.

(Wow, the picture is almost exactly life size on my monitor...)

yes....poor thing is somewhat flattened...it is very expressive though andan outstanding work in watercolor. It has a great deal of substance along with the delicacy we expect from that medium.

I love it - transporting - am I being in China or Japan with this - great - subtle - and remember please that one is most successful when one ages for to die young was not part of the plan! :) Which is to say - nothing wrong with an old bird!

Well, I love it because it's creative and mysterious and the colors are limited but beautifully chosen. It has a quality of transparency which makes me feel that it's a protozoan seen through an optical microscope which happens to look a great deal like a derelict bird. Who knew?

Nothing sae - its glorious. Did you do woodburning first and then use wc on it?

Cool technique do you think you can do it again or was this one of those happy accidents like Bob Ross used to say, hope not. Looks good.

Just saw your sleeping moon I can see this was no happy accident. Tell us about your technique or do you have a WIP to view?
