I guess you may get some flack about the hand being off beat but the rest seems to take rhytm and tone to a higher level.

I can live with the hand. I like it, it's like kandinsky, but if he bothered to paint people more.
I love how the neck of the sax is like a long smooth note.

Love the colors - orange and blue with the green splashes.
The reflections in the sax are very well done.
Just not sure about his right side forehead.

Holy moley, hand schmand. This is not only jazzy, it rocks. In fact, I think it bounced right off the monitor and it's dancing around the room now. LOOOOOOve the colors. You have a real sense of atmosphere, and I'd love to see more.

Super cool! Fabulous, like the Fauves. Very dynamic, but I agree about the hand. It seems to be at rest while the musician is smokin! Need some more tension in that hand esp since it is so prominent.

would that be P. Sanders?
(I'm not sure what he looks like
but this looks like what I would imagine he'd look like)
one of my all time favs...
(especially with Leon Thomas)
he is, after all, very psychodelic himself...
if I am wrong...pardon me...
love the piece anyway...
