This is my first attempt at portraits. We saw this unique lady in Portugal. I am including the Photo that I used

Please comment on the entire painting

Pretty good for your first portrait and an interesting lady. The things I notice are that I would have shown more of her purple blouse, I wouldn't have cropped the painting at her chin. I know she had that one odd tooth but if it were my choice I think I would just leave it out as it really draws your eye. Keep going, portraits are challenging but so fun.

Pretty good, but you should try adding more contrast with values - it's a bit flat. Keep up the good work.

I think this painting says what you wanted it to say. I would buy it just like it is, if I was buying. I like it!!

I added contrast, it improved my Portugal Lady a lot. Thank you Thomas
I welcome all comments for improvement.
